A party bus rental is a great idea for large groups going out on the town, celebrating an event or travelling to a concert. Part of the reason that this is so popular is that you don’t have to worry about picking a designated driver, parking fees, etc. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride while hanging out with your besties.

If your charter bus isn’t inspected properly before you begin your journey, you could be up for a disappointing evening. It’s important to make sure that you have everything you need and that everything is in proper working order before starting out. Here are some tips on how to inspect your party bus rental:

Amenities

If possible, check the charter bus that you are going to be riding in; if it isn’t feasible, at least, check one that is similar to the one you’ll be using. Make a list of the amenities that are included. Have all of the amenities written in the contract, so the company and the driver are aware of what you are expecting.

On the day of your excursion check the vehicle to make sure that all amenities originally agreed to are in place and in working order. This includes TVs, DVD players, and CD players. Is the bar fully stocked? Does the washroom work? If anything is amiss, let your driver know immediately.

Check for cleanliness

You have every right to expect your party bus rental to be clean and tidy before you use it. Check all of the seats (even underneath them), the washroom, the bar area, etc. for garbage or stains from other users before you. Again, if you find anything, notify your driver immediately. You need to be able to ride comfortably, not among other people’s garbage.

Also, check for items that may have been left behind by previous riders; sunglasses, phones, scarves, wallets, etc. If you find anything to give them to the driver and the company will get in touch with the appropriate party.

Once you’ve disembarked for the evening, be sure to check the seats again to make sure that you or your group members haven’t left anything behind.

Ask driver if he’s done his regulatory inspection

By law, the driver must perform an inspection to make sure that everything is in good working order. You can also do a quick walk-around to inspect the bus visually. Do the tires look bald? Is there rust on the exterior? You don’t have to be a mechanic, but if your party bus rental looks like it’s ready to fall apart, you might want to ask for another one that’s in better condition.

Once your party bus rental has been thoroughly inspected to your satisfaction, you and your group can board knowing that the ride will be comfortable and most importantly, fun. Take advantage of the amenities that are included and create a special night that you will all remember for years to come. Your driver will ensure that you get to your destination safely and on time. All you have to do is enjoy yourself!
